Provision of information
Not to mention product information, we always collect and provide the latest information such as market trends, regional information and client-specific analysis data. Japell’s exclusive information coming in real time from our antenna shops and Los Angels office is also helpful for our clients’ sales activities.
Assistance
At Japell, an assistance system has been introduced in which multiple employees with their respective roles follow up on each individual client as a team. This is a Japell’s unique system designed to respond to questions and requests from our clients as quickly as possible in order to achieve close communication with them.
Exhibition
We host an annual big event “Comprehensive Pet Exhibition” that brings approximately 150 companies together every year.The exhibition is well known as a lively trade show in the industry.We also host “Japell Pro Collection” mainly targeting pet store owners in the west and east parts of Japan once a year.This exhibition is focused specifically on products for specialized stores.These events also play the key roles of antennas exploring market trends.
Simulation
We do an actual product layout based on data such as breakdown of sales by category, and then create a virtual store in a computer simulation to propose the most appropriate form of store.We have “Simulation Room” equipped with real product shelves installed at each office location in order to make proposals by taking needs of the field into account in a more timely and flexible manner.
Proposal
We propose highly value added original plans based on various data that have been analyzed by season, category, etc. We are also thorough in information sharing among sales representatives via “Planning Management and Sharing System” so that they can share the details of proposals made to our clients by each sales representative, client needs and trend movement as quickly as possible.This kind of information sharing helps educate young sales representatives.

Japell has introduced an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system to promptly attend to tasks for increased operational efficiency, speed and accuracy.Additionally, a huge amount of order receiving and placing data sent in from all the locations is centrally managed on the headquarters computer. This has reduced errors when receiving and placing orders, making payments, etc.Moreover, data centrally collected at the data center is verified and analyzed by each sales representative. It is then shared with our clients and utilized when making proposals.

JAPOSS (Japell Proshop Order Support System) is Japell’s proprietary system, designed for specialized stores to place orders using the dedicated handy terminal instead of doing so by phone or fax as done before.The system saves our clients time and effort and helps them increase operational efficiency.

Distribution management system
We also repeatedly evolve and improve the distribution management system.We have developed and introduced a new distribution management system, “DC System (Distribution Center System)”.When receiving and shipping products, their data is imported into the system using the handy terminal so that the system can keep track of the flow of products and detect defective products in real time. We are aiming to handle the process of distributing an enormous number of products as accurately as possible for an increased delivery rate.
